A word given in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s as ankasse “up-, high-headed” or ankassea “tall, lofty”, a combination of ᴱQ. am- “up(wards)” and an elaboration of ᴱQ. kar (kas-) “head” (QL/30). It also appeared in the contemporaneous Poetic and Mythological Words of Eldarissa as ankasse(a) “lofty” (PME/30).
