A word in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s glossed “long thin point” under the early root ᴱ√KOLO (QL/47). Its second element is likely a variant of ᴱQ. sild(r)a “slender” (QL/84). The contemporaneous Poetic and Mythological Words of Eldarissa also had kolosilde but without a gloss (PME/47).
