A neologism for a “bracket” in punctuation, coined by Raccoon posted on 2024-05-03 in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), based on the root √STEN in its sense “confine, cramp”. It may be used for any of the characters "(", ")", "[", "]", "{", "}", "<" and ">", used in pairs to enclose parenthetic remarks.
