G. hyrost n. “dawn” (Category: Dawn)

⚠️G. hyrost, n. “dawn” (Category: Dawn)
S. amrûn “sunrise, east, [N.] Orient, (lit.) [of the] uprising”
S. minuial “(dawn) twilight”

The Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s had aurost “dawn” as a combination of G. aur “Sun” and rost “ascent” (GL/20). This was revised to haurost beside (primitive?) ᴱ✶huðrost. Gnomish Lexicon Slips modifying this document had hyrost and aurost without translations, with both variants equated to G. amrost “dawn”.
