ᴺS. !falaech n. “splash” (Category: Splash, Spray)
A neologism coined by Paul Strack in 2018 specifically for Eldamo, a noun variant of ᴺS. falaecha- “to splash”, derived from *phalas-yē. The final ch is a result of the sound change whereby medial asy became ach(y) which then vocalized to aich > aech (PE23/138-9), similar to S. laich < leich < leχı̯(a) < ✶lisyā.
