Q. Hecelmar loc. “*Home of the Hecel”
An old Quenya name for Beleriand as the home of the Heceldi, but later this name was only used by loremasters (WJ/365). It sometimes appeared in the longer form Heceldamar (WJ/374). It is a compound of Hecel “Elf who stayed in Beleriand” and már “home”.
