ᴺQ. !assir n. “sideflow, sidebar, concurrent event, (lit.) by-flow” (Category: Brook, Stream, River)
A neologism for a “sidebar, sideflow” coined by Röandil posted on 2026-04-18 in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), a combination of ar- “beside” and √SIR “flow”, so more literally “by-flow”. Technically it refers to a sideflow or second channel of a river, but can be used for any concurrent event or side element, such as a sidebar in a body of text.
