ᴺQ. !arivë adv. “closely, nearly” (Category: Near)

ᴺQ. !arivë, adv. “closely, nearly” [created by Paul Strack] (Category: Near)

A neologism for both “closely” and “nearly” coined by Helge Fauskanger for his Neo-Quenya New Testament (NQNT), appearing as ᴺQ. harivë based on ᴱQ. har(e) “near”. I prefer to use ᴱQ. are¹ “beside, along” for the sense “near”, so I have updated this neologism to arivë. Fauskanger used this word both for “nearly” = “almost” and “closely” = “with careful attention”, but I prefer to use it mainly for the latter sense, preferring ᴺQ. amna for “almost”.
