An adjective for “closed, shut, private” in the Ósanwe-kenta essay and associated etymological notes from 1959-60, derived from the root √PAK “close, shut” (VT39/23; VT41/5; PE17/159). Raccoon suggested it might be derived from *pak-nā in a discord discussion from 2024-02-14.
