Q. Falassion m. “*Shore-son”
Tar-Falassion was the Quenya name of the 22nd ruler of Númenor (UT/223), better knowns as Ar-Sakalthôr. His name seems to be a compound of falassë “shore” and the patronymic suffix -ion “-son”.
