Q. Nahar m.
The name of Oromë’s horse (S/29), an adaptation of his Valarin name Næχærra of unknown meaning (WJ/401). In The Silmarillion index Christopher Tolkien said he was “so named on account of his voice” (SI/Nahar), but the source of this information is unclear.
