This discussion of Adûnaic grammar is drawn largely from “Lowdham’s Report on the Adunaic Language” (SD/413-440), though some aspects are deduced by examining the phrases appearing in the “The Notion Club Papers” (SD/145-327), particularly the various versions of the Lament of Akallabêth (SD/247, 311-312).
