A Noldorin name for the constellation Valakirka appearing in The Etymologies from the 1930s with the gloss “Seven Stars” (Ety/OT), a combination of odog “seven” with the plural of geil “star”. Although the first element edeg also seems to be a plural, more like it is simply the i-affection of odog due to the i in the final syllable.
