This diphthong appeared when later [eo], [iu] became [io] in Ossiriandic. However, [eo] appears in Danian words from The Etymologies: beorn (Ety/BES) and meord (Ety/MIZD). Thus, this diphthong may only have appeared in a later form of that dialect.
