An unglossed root in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s with derivatives like ᴱQ. peqe- “comb, card wool, tease” and ᴱQ. peqen “comb” (QL/73). It was compared to ᴱ√PEKE of similar meaning. I think this root is worth salvaging in Neo-Eldarin as *√PEK(W) “comb”.
