N. brenia- v. “to endure” (Category: Patience, Endurance)

N. brenia-, v. “to endure” (Category: Patience, Endurance)
G. gultha- “to bear up; to weigh, balance it on scales; to be worth, value or be equivalent to; to endure”

A verb in The Etymologies of the 1930s glossed “endure” based on ON. bronie under the root ᴹ√BORÓN (Ety/BORÓN). In The Etymologies as published in The Lost Road it appeared in the form bronio (LR/353), but in their Addenda and Corrigenda to the Etymologies Carl Hostetter and Patrick Wynne corrected this to [Noldorin-style infinitive] brenio (VT45/7). The vowel e is the expected result of the i-affection of o.
