ᴹQ. selda n. and adj. “child [n.]” (Category: Child)
A neuter term for “child” appearing beside masculine and feminine ᴹQ. seldo and ᴹQ. selde in The Etymologies of the 1930s under the root ᴹ√SEL-D “child” (Ety/SEL-D; EtyAC/SEL-D). Helge Fauskanger suggested it might be an adjectival form (QQ/selda).
