Ilk. medial velars with following [j] became dentals; [-{kj|gj|ŋgj|xj}-] > [-{t|d|nd|θi}-]
According to the sound changes in the Comparative Tables, it seems that medial labialized velars became non-labialized dentals in Ilkorin: see below (PE19/23). There are no attested examples of this development in The Etymologies, though compare Dilion and telf where this change seems to have occurred initially. In general the [j] was lost after dentalization, but after primitive [kʰ] > [x] > [θ], the [j] became [i] (and then the [θ] became [ð]).
