Any of the Primitive Adûnaic consonants could appear finally, with the exception of [ŋ] which only appeared medially before another velar (SD/432). Tolkien stated that Classical Adûnaic words never ended with more than a single consonant (SD/418, 426), which almost certainly means the same was true of the older form of the language.
