Dan. non-initial [w] became [v] in East Danian; [Xw] > [Xv]
According to the Comparative Tables, the semi-vowel [w] became [v] in East Danian except where it appeared initially (PE19/19-20, 23). There were similar developments in Old Norse, where [w] frequently became [v] (ref/@@@). This change also seems to have occurred in the only clearly attested East Danian word: Leikvir (LR/188).
