Ilk. class plural grammar.
Ilkorin had a class-plural suffix -ath, identical in form and origin to -ath (PE21/57). This suffix appeared in The Etymologies from the 1930s within the collective form Eglath of Egla “Elf”, both as Doriathrin (Ety/ELED) and general Ilkorin (Ety/GAT(H), LED). It is possible this suffix was also used as (and was perhaps inspired by) the Gnomish general plural suffix -th.
