A letter from Tolkien to Dick Plotz outlining the declension of Quenya nouns. The citations in this lexicon refer to the reproduction of this letter in Vinyar Tengwar #06. The chart describes written or “classical” Quenya. The notes in the letter indicate that long vowels are shortened in the final position in spoken or “modern” Quenya.
